Let me tell you a little about myself. As a child growing up in Chaska (home of the Gedney Pickle Factory) my most favorite memory was the smell of pickles in the air on hot summer days. My mother worked at the pickle factory and would come home smelling like a pickle. Pickles were always in our house. You can probably say I grew up on pickles. I have never met a pickle I did not like. My favorite color is Picklicious which can best be described as a pickle green. Today I am a preschool teacher at Chaska Fit and Fun Preschool. I spend my days teaching each child to become the best that they can be and to eat pickles!(Seriously what more do you need to know in life)
As Pickle President I will promote this love of pickle to all Americans.
I promise to teach everyone (especially the children) the benefits that DILL can make in their lives.
I will work hard to change the Food Guide Pyramid to include Pickles as a food group. Any pickle lover knows that 2-3 servings a day are what you need to keep up a dill-lightful attitude.
